~To forget~
*Co-worker!Norway X Employee!Reader X Co-worker!Denmark X Boss!Sweden*
The Swedish male let out a grunt of disapproval as he scanned with his sapphire blue eyes the calculus sheet.Taking a blue inked pen he pointed all the mistakes his Danish employee had made.He knew from the very start Kohler was quite a slacker and distracted by the simplest thing even when he had to do a serious job.Though, when it came to speaking, his accent wasn't as heavy as his,nor was he misunderstood in his explanations.
And that was when the intimidating boss took into account that a new, unexperienced employee would be a great idea.
So one day he took his time and organized an interview. There were a lot of unexperienced, still skilled young people who needed a job to support themselves. But they either were losing their ability to form a coherent phrase as the male directioned his stare at them or they avoided his gaze throught their speech.
Oxentierna rubbed soothing circles on his temples in sign of annoyance. Not a single canditate was able to pass his simple tasks.
"Are you sure you want to continue,Su-San?" the Finnish male asked in a concerned, still frightened tone.
As a response,he nodded his head and let a small 'hmph' escape his lips.
"You can enter now, miss!" the purple eyed male said, gesturing with his hands for the young female to take a sit.
She thanked, bowing a little her head and flashed an equally merry smile towards the Finnish.
Well, yes,Berwald needed young spirits to compete for a special place in his company, but this certain candidate, besides the fact she was a female - making her the only female in the firm - was also quite young,a teenager maybe.
"My name is (Name) (Last Name) sir!" she begun, extanding her hand towards the Swedish male which he gladly took and shook.
"Before you judge me for the fact that I am this young, consider the fact that I got the will to work anything you will give me and I will accomplish whatever task you want me to.I don't have that much of an experience, but I'm sociable,I was the first at Literature and Foreign Languages.I'm also using often the computer so I can edit documents, create charts and presentations and so on and so forth!" the female ended, catching her breath and passing her quite thick CV to the male.
Throught her whole speech the female has never once tore her gaze from the Swede, thing which pleased him great.Either she was so desperate to have a job or she could see behind appearences and didn't judge people for their exterior.
Berwald wasn't sure if he did the right thing or not and he surely wasn't the one to be spontaneous about such things, but maybe this time it was all right and he wouldn't regret it.
"Y'u w'll st'rt w'rk M'nd'y!B' h'r' at 7 am sh'rp!" the Swede said, gaining a beautiful happy smile from the girl - because for him,it was a girl, not a woman yet - who once again took his rather large hands with her small ones, friendly shaking them,to seal the deal.
"Thank you so much Mr.Oxentierna!I will never fail you sir,I swear!" she answered and after some more fugitive 'thanks' and some sounds of approval from him,she bid her farewells.
"T'no,t'll th' 'th'rs t' g'.I h'v' f'und th' on'!" Berwald explained to the short male, whose eyes grew wide, but nonetheless nodded his head.
Finding himself alone in his office,in the rotative brown leather chair, with his elbows propped on the wooden desk,he let a smirk embellish his beautiful features - this was the right choice and he could feel it.
~Time skip to Monday~
The rumors of a new, enchanting girl soon spread, becoming the main subject of the employees in between breaks. All of them chattered non-stop about the mysterious girl who melted the freezing cold heart of the large Swede. Some of the lines were mean, while others were of pure surprise. All of the employees - except for a Norwegian,an Icelander and a Finnish boy.
As promised, the female was inside the main hall of the 'Oxentierna Co' at 7 am sharp. Not a minute earlier, neither a minute late.
She wore a black pencil skirt with a plain white shirt which embraced her upper curves,a pair of cream coloured socks and a pair of velvet black heels. Her hair was put up in a cute, still sophisticated bun and she wore little make-up : a black mascara which curved up her lashes,a black thin line crossing the edge of her upper lid,a peachy soft lipstick on her lips, making them look full and a tint of rosy blush on her cheeks.
"Oh,miss (Name)!" the Finnish boy cheerfully greeted her.
"Come on,Mr.Oxentierna wants to see you in his office!~" he practically sang, dragging the shorter girl with him to the said room.
Knocking twice and after a line which sounded like 'Come in',Tino entered the office, closely followed by the new employee.
The female took a place on the chair which Berwald pointed, the slightly tap of reassurence on her shoulder being the last thing before the merry male left.
"Th'r' 're s'm' r'les h'r'!" he simply stated.
"I'm listening sir!" the soft, serious voice of the girl came as an echo.
"N' r'm'nce b'tween m'tes!" Berwald continued,gaining a half hearted nod from the female.
"'ffic'al att'r's 'll th' t'me!" at this she whole heartedly nodded.
"D'n't com' l'te,n'eith'r t'ke a d'y 'ff w'th'ut my c'ns'nt!" the female made a 'hmm' sound,in sign of approval.
"Go'd!S'm'tim's y'u'll h've t' st'y aft'r w'rk!Is th't 'k w'th y'u?" the Swedish asked,studying her features.
"Of course sir!I don't mind staying after work if this helps the company!" (Name) reassured her boss, placing both her hands in her lap.
"Y'u c'n g' n'w!Mr.V'in'moin'n w'll sh'w y'u y'ur offic'!" he ended,pointing a sign of dismiss with his hand.
"Thank you sir!Have a good day!" the girl bowed her head a little, making her way towards the other male who only crept a little the door and motioned her to follow him.
She must have been quite lost in thought as the Finnish male stopped in his tracks and placed both his warm hands on her shoulders, causing her to make eye contact.
"Don't worry, sweet (Name)!~ Berwald is a good person!I'm sure you'll fit in here sooner than you'll even acknowledge!" he said in a soothing, sing song voice.
"Thank you,Mr.Vainamoinen! That really made me feel better!" her official voice came, causing the young male to laugh.
"Oh,please, call me Tino sweety!~" the Fin retorted, placing his hand on the doorknob and opening wide the door for a better view.
"And this is your office (Name)!Mine is two doors down from here if you need me.And the one paralel to yours is Lukas' office. He is an awesome helping hand if you are in trouble." he winked towards her, causing a little blush to rise to her cheeks.
But he was long gone to even notice it.The female took this opportunity to note down her surroundings. For a begginger's office seemed quite cozy and well equiped.
Soft colours were plastered on the walls,a calming pale green which reminded her of the caress of spring grass. The large desk and the paper filled furniture was made out of cherry wood, the smell of new invading the female's nostrils.
The windows were large and the view above Stockholm was breathtaking : from up there she could see people passing by,cars rushing down the road, the sight of rather large buildings and the horizon line.
Maybe Berwald was indeed a good guy and she was lucky to be his employee.
~First task~
"Hey (Name)!~" a sing song voice came from the office's door,but it wasn't Tino's.
It was a rather cocky, arrogant tone, but which strangely held something sweet behind all that composed charade.
"First thing first! My name is Mathias Kohler and I'm your co-worker!" the blonde extended his hand, which the girl gingerly took and shook.
"Nice to meet you,Mathias! My name is (Name) (Last Name)!" the girl flashed a sincere smile towards him in which the Dane lost himself.
"So,um...yeah!" he scratched the back of his neck in embarassement.
"Mr.Oxentierna told me to give you to edit this documents!" he extended his hand with the files.
"I've noted the edits that should be done in red ink!I hope it's not a burdening color for your eyes!" the Danish somehow concernedly added.
"It's ok,Mr.Kohler,I don't mind it!" the female answered, studying the papers.
"Mathias...call me Mathias!" he said before making his leave.
Hours passed and (Name) still wasn't done with the files. And no,it wasn't because the lack of her skills,in fact she was very fast at writing on the computer in general, but Mathias' handwriting was genuinely horrible.
"(Name),aren't you done for today?" the Finnish asked in a concerned tone.
"I'll stay a little longer,Tino!Reading Mathias' handwriting it's as if I'm reading something written in Egyptian!" the female answered, gaining a small laugh from the Fin.
"Yes,I quite understand!Don't push yourself too hard,ok?" he added before biding his farewells.
"I won't!Thank you for your concern! And good night!" (Name) waved towards him, quickly returning to her work.
What the female didn't observe was the piercing, still bored gaze of the Norwegian male who felt pity for the poor creature who had to deal with the Dane's analphabetic handwriting.
But it was none of his business and never shall be.
~Le time skip~
"Poor (Name)!~" the Finnish let a heavy sigh escape his lips.
"Huh?Why poor her?"the Icelander asked, taking a bite of his licorice.
"Don't you know?" he asked the other three males who only shook their heads.
"Since she has to edit Mathias' work, she only stays until late at nights! And the thing is she is also attending college when she isn't here. And,from what I know, she's all by herself!" another sigh escaped his lips.
"That's quite strange, truth to be told!Everytime I ask her about her parents she changes the topic. What might be her problem?" the Dane asked himself more than the others.
Eversince that discussion, the Norwegian male couldn't do anything but think at the (h/c) haired female. How would be if he had made her life easy?Would she appreciate?
"Tino..." Lukas' coldly started.
Hearing his name called by the Norwegian, the Finnish let aside his work for a while, intently listening to what he got to ask him.It was a rare thing for the navy blue eyed male to communicate with his other mates and a chance like this was one in the milion.
"Yes,Mr.Bondevik? How may I help you?" the purple eyed questioned.
"I would like Mr.(Last Name) to edit my documents from now on.Mathias can have Emil to edit his for a while!" he simply said.
A cute smile spread across the short Fin face as he clearly got his intentions.
"I advise you to go and pass her now the files before Mathias does!It will be easier for both of you!" the Norwegian nodded his head and made his way towards her small, still seemingly spatious office.
A little knock on the door could be heard, the way of Lukas' making his presence felt. The 'Come in' was soon to be heard,so he pressed the doorknob and he straded towards the small desk at where she stood.
"Oh,Mr.Bondevik, isn't it?" the female asked, gaining a nod from him.
"Take a sit please!" she pointed to the chair across her own.
"I assume you came here for paper editing, haven't you?" once again the Norwegian nodded as he passed her some snow white files.
"I've pointed the edits in blue ink so it wouldn't be difficult to follow!I shall take my leave now.I hope you finish them soon!" and in the next instant he was off.
(Name) took Lukas' last sentence as a thing she had to obey, but that was his way of wishing her to get out from work earlier and to rest more.
As time flew by though and she printed the last edited paper, the little limb of the clasical clock in the office pointed 6 in the afternoon.Way earlier than she left her office since she had started working at 'Oxentierna Co'.She had to admit that Lukas' papers were precise, his writing neat and the indications put in the proper place.
She knocked twice at the Norwegian's door, anouncing her leave.
"I have finished editing the papers, sir!" she simply said, though the female was extremly excited she could have time for her own needs after so long.
'Extremly fast!' Lukas' thought, toring his gaze off other papers and watching the limbs of the clock move.
"You can make your leave then!" he answered back, impatiently tapping the end of his pen on a notebook.
"Thank you sir!I appreciate it.Have a good night!" she stated from behind the door, not wanting to disturb him.
"Good night!" was the last thing he said before he heard the shuffle from out and small clicks of her heels, indicating that she was leaving.
Quite an interesting young one,huh?
