'Drabble #20 from 'All I want for Christmas' series'

The female searched for a certain warmth under the red covers she was now missing.Reaching the other end of the bed,she lazily snapped her eyes open,revealing a pair of watery (e/c) orbs.
Rubbing her tightened fists onto her eye,she threw the covers off of her,regretting immediatly she did so.
After debating whether she was to get up or not,(Name) decided it was the best if she at least gave it a try,so she just moved reluctantly to the edge of the bed,slipping on her comfy tricotated socks.
As she was descending the wooden stairs,the smell of freshly made pancakes and mapple syrup invaded her nostrils plesantly,causing her mouth to water and her stomach to beg for a bite of the delicious treat.
Peeking her head into the rather small kitchen,the sight of the Canadian happily finishing the last batch of pancakes and some other good looking desserts,made (Name)'s heart skip beats.
The way how the dim light fell upon Matthew's curly blonde locks,making them look even more lighter than they already were,adding that milky white skin of his which seemed to lack flaws and the liliach orbs which glimmered,brightening his features,made him look even more handsome.
A content sigh escaped the female's lips as she was contemplating her long time husband,causing him to stop and greet her with a fresh,warming smile.
"Good morning, ma petite!" the Canadian spoke up,inviting her with his clear and deep orbs.
The way Matthew spoke French,how accents rolled off his tongue smoothly,could have made any girl weak in the knees - and (Name) was no exception.
"Good morning honey!" the female clinged onto her husband's vivid red sweater,pecking his lips lovingly.
"I can see you made a lot of yummy stuff!" (Name) gave a short laugh,still which echoed through the large house,hitting walls with a cling.
"Oui!I know how you love them!" Matthew spoke in a soft voice,laughing along as he placed a plate full of pancakes in front of his wife.
Grabbing a fork,(Name) enjoyed the sweet treat her husband offered to her - there was no one in the world who could bake better pancakes than the Canadian's.The butter blended along with the creamy milk,the eggs,the sifted flour and sweet,but not too much of a sweet sugar.
He always applied a generous amount of mapple syrup,the brownish golden liquid flowing down until it hit the white plate in small drops.
The flavours practically exploded in the female's mouth,melting and leaving a trace of sweet both on her lips and her tongue.
"They are amazing,Matt!You are the best cook ever!" (Name) praised the blonde,at which he blushed a faded pink,letting the bangs cover his face.
"T-Thank you,(Name)!I'm glad you enjoyed it!" he responded in his soft,melodical voice,scratching awkwardly his neck.
"Hey!What about we go out to play hockey?" Matthew suggested,a small smirk playing onto his handsome features.
"Nu-Uh! Non!Niet!Nej!Nein! " (Name) made an X with her hands for emphasis.
"You always beat me at it.I mean,you are so much stronger than I am." the female pouted cutely,crossing her arms over her chest.
"Plus...can't we just stay in front of the fireplace and drink hot chocolate?" she bit down on her lower lip,giving the Canadian the puppy eyes.
"Okay (Name).We could do that too.I don't think either way the blizzard will stop soon!" Matthew sighed,watching as outside snowflakes got carried by cold wind in spirals,the wind itself increasing in intensity and roaring at the cottage's corners.
(Name) shut the light in the living room,plugging in the the decorated tree's instalation,neon greens,golden yellows,vivid reds and navy blues playing onto the soft coloured walls,dancing one with another.
The warmth of the fireplace enveloped the female,making her eyes grow heavy.The Canadian hugged his wife from behind,bringing her back into his chest,his hands resting onto her tummy.
He smelt as fresh cologne and the crispy of the frozen wind seemed to be held in his sweater.
"Are you tired, mon amour?" Matthew whispered in the female's ear as he rubbed her swollen belly in a soothing manner.
"Just a little bit.I love this atmosphere Matthie!When it's only you and me!" (Name) responded,placing her own hands upon the male's.
"Well,we are not quite alone,now are we?" he chuckled,his chest vibrating as doing so.
"That's right.Sorry,little one!" the female giggled,watching the sparks hitting the white marble of the fireplace.
"Je t'aime,(Name)!Always have and always will!" the blonde placed his lips onto the female's head.
"Je t'aime aussi,Matthew!Forever and ever!" (Name) completed,turning her body to make eye contact with her husband.
They smiled to eachother in bliss,slowly,but surely closing the gap,meeting halfway.(Name)'s lips blended perfectly with the shy Canadian's,the kiss both gentle and needy,their lips caressing one another in a dizzy,but ginger dance,pressed one to another.
Frozen snowflakes created shapes onto the glass windows,as if they were painted by a skilled hand.
The wind stopped making strange noises,bell's clinking into the frozen air,the blueish smoke emanatted by the chimney coming in short rasps,as human's breath,cutting through the frozen ballerinas which didn't cease to fall onto the ground and to brode the cotton layer.
