'Drabble #26 from 'All I want for Christmas' series'

The sun shone with power onto the crystal blue sky,sending an incredibile wave of heat towards the ground,which made the golden sands unbearable to step on.
The female wiped with the back of her hand the beads of sweat which threatened to fall,sighing inwardly at her so called Christmas.
Is not that (Name) hated heat or something - but her image about Christmas was related to oceans of white,frost nipping at people's nose,slippery patches of ice here and there and the melodical crunch of the snow under the boots pressure.
Instead,the warm December day seemed to mock her,tumbling that her hopes as she was caught in the Australian scenery - indeed,it was a beautiful sight,especially the sea losing itself into the horizon,from where the sun's golden disk sent its rays towards the beaches,where people layed down onto towels in hope of getting tanned or some of them,more daring - or rather said,to show off - rode waves.
The only thing which kept (Name) bounded to the Australian land was in fact someone - and that someone was riding the surf board like a boss,not even once losing his balance,as waves left themselves tamed by the handsome male,whose smile grew when he caught glimpse of the female's petite body.
He waved towards her,his smile face cracking,letting visible his perfectly white teeth - at which the (h/c) waved back,tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.
After so many years of being together,the female couldn't help but blush whenever the Australian acted like that towards her,being all sweet and sexy at the same time.
Putting his surf board aside,the male made a run for the place where his (Name) stood,enveloping her into a big,loving embrace.
The female trembled at the contact of her hot exposed skin with his icy cold one - but it was pleasant in a way.She snaked her arms around his torso in attempt of a hug,placing her cheek against his chest - droplets of salty water still caressed the perfectly tanned skin,mixing with the Australian's fresh smell.
"Hey sheila!Eager to see me?" the male asked,winking towards her sugestively.
"Sometimes I ask myself if you really are Arthur's cousin,Jack!" (Name) answered,skillfully retorting her beloved ones comment.
"I can't help it when my baby is the most beautiful girl around!" the brown haired bent,pecking the female's lips sweetly.
"You are so damn lucky I love you,surfer boy!" the (h/c) laughed,interwinding fingers with the male,as they started going at slow pace along the shore's line.
Water lapped at the edge of the golden yellow sands,a delicate breeze playing in people's hair and onto their faces,silvery points left behind by salt,creating a sort of wave as the sea swayed back and forth into a rhytmical manner.
"You know sheila ... I'm really sorry we couldn't have a white Christmas,as you wanted it to be!But I just didn't trust any mean of transport at the moment!" the male apologized,scratching the skin of his neck awkwardly.
"Jack..." (Name) started,a cute smile painted upon her lips.
"As long as you are with me,I don't care if it snows or not!Christmas is about family and being with the ones you love,giving and receiving." the (h/c) spoke in a soft voice,wind caressing her features as she did so.
"I'm really happy you think this (Name)!" Jack responded,the smile reappearing onto his face as he cupped the female's face with his rather large hands.
(Name) found it absolutely adorable when the Australian softly smiled like that,closing his two gems of eyes,the band onto his nose contrasting with the tone of his skin.
"I just can't wait for our baby koala to be born!" the brown haired male added,getting on one knee so that he could stroke gently the female's swollen tummy and place a ginger kiss upon it.
"I know honey!I'm eagerly waiting for it too!" the (e/c) responded,ruffling the Australian's wild coffee brown hair,a giggle escaping her lips as the tender touch tickled.
"I love you,(Name)!" Jack confessed for the untempth time his undying love,taking the female's hands into his own and bringing them to his lips.
"I love you too,Jack!" (Name) responded,feeling once again as in highschool,when she found silly and not true the words which the Australian daily repeated to her like a broken tape.
Closing the gap between them two with a kiss,Jack masterly blended lips with the female he loved for so long he wasn't even sure when it all started - as if they were supposed to be together eversince they were born.
Of course the Australian climate could be harsh sometimes,but that wouldn't keep the two from living what they were supposed to,especially the fact that they were going to be soon parents.
"You know,maybe we should start unpacking the presents the guys sent to us!" (Name) broke the silence as the two of them walked along the beach,one arm of the male protectively snaked around his lover's form.
"Or maybe we should just watch some Christmas themed movies while I prepare some hot chocolate with marshmallows and ginger cookies?" Jack suggested,causing the female to raise a (h/c) eyebrow at him.
"Isn't it a little bit too hot for that?" the (e/c) eyed asked,slightly amused by what he was saying - thinking it didn't sound half bad.
"It seems not!" the Australian answered,pointing a long finger towards the night sky.
Gaping her mouth in amazement,(Name) couldn't help but squeak in delight.For the first time eversince she had moved to Sydney when she said 'yes' in front of a great amount of people with her husband,snowflakes fell gently to the ground,a cold wind replaced by the eternal hot one.
Reaching her palms in order to catch the frozen tears,the female felt once again as a small child,amazed by how nature managed to bring her such happiness.The precious smile plastered onto his wife's delicate features caused Jack to do so too - enjoying the genuine feeling as the snowflakes melted into the female's soft palms.
"Merry Christmas,(Name)!" the Australian spoke,watching the white frozen flakes fall to the ground gently.
There were a few gasps around and laughs,as Australian people enjoyed the rare sight of snow.
"Merry Christmas,Jack!" (Name) responded,capturing the male's hand into a gentle grasp,watching the spectacle which developed onto the satin black canvas.
